Francisco has worked closely with Latino and minority-owned businesses in Los Angeles for 20 years to enhance their economic viability, increase profitability, and create opportunities. In serving this community, Francisco has devised a unique approach that combines consulting with education, focused on monitoring and assessing a company’s business and financial practices. Francisco’s consulting interventions are designed to educate Latino and minority entrepreneurs to increase their company’s profitability, stimulate growth, and orientate them toward continued growth through strategic use of capital. To date, Francisco has faciliated over $90M in capital to minority-owned enterprises in LA, ranging from SBA Express Loans to multi-million dollar financial instruments focused on capitalizing middle-market companies. Francisco has received numerous public awards and commendations from the LA City Council, LA County Board of Supervisors, the State of California, the SBA, and US Congress, all highlighting his achievements in growing minority-owned small businesses.
Jason has over 30 years of experience working in finance and management. He holds a BSE Chemical Engineering from University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Stanford University. Previous firms include Standard Oil of Ohio, Morgan Stanley and Alex. Brown & Sons. As Managing Director of the Private Client Division of Deutsche Bank Alex. Brown, Jason managed 200+ employees with revenues of $270M, focused on products, strategic direction, and profitability oversight. In 2003, Jason was appointed President of a private wealth management firm with $2.4B in assets. Subsequently, Jason was tapped to serve as COO for DAQRI in 2012, an AR tech startup developing 4D augmented reality solutions for heavy industry. He led DAQRI through an initial funding round of $15M from private equity investors and expanded the company’s global office real estate portfolio to 125,000 SF. Jason is a List Ventures Advisor and mentors entrepreneurs in high-growth industries, seeking to enable the success of the innovators who will shape tomorrow’s minority business landscape.
